East Suffolk Council have recently launched a new Community Energy programme in East Suffolk to support community-owned and community-led renewable energy projects. The Programme is being led by the Centre for Sustainable Energy, who will be delivering the project alongside Community Energy England and Ashden. The organisations will be supporting groups to progress with installing community-owned energy assets.
To celebrate new community energy programme launch in East Suffolk, the Council are hosting a free evening event at East Suffolk House, Riduna Park, Melton, IP12 1RT with food and refreshments provided. Attendees can expect:
An introduction to the Programme and how to get involved
Practical training on running community energy workshops
Opportunities to connect with other groups and share ideas
