Halesworth ASH are holding this screening of the film “Power Station”, another in their strand of engaging and thought-provoking Green Films.
This is a compelling documentary by activist film-makers Dan Edelstyn and Hilary Powell, charting their mission – hatched during lockdown – to bring solar panels to the roofs of the houses in their street and, in their words, to “turn every house into a power station”. Along the way, they also fundraise to get solar panels on the roof of the local junior school (helped by an ambitious campaign for a Number One in the Christmas music charts).
Energy Champion for Halesworth ASH, William Poulsen, will be there for the screening and will be sharing news of initiatives already underway in the town and planning some energy-related events around the screening.
The screening will be at the theatre The Cut.
